Burlap Wreath with Ribbon Rosettes

11 May

If you can’t tell by now, my favorite craft to make are wreaths.  So with the changing season, so does my front door decor.  Here is what I came up with for spring, a Burlap wreath with ribbon rosettes.

I just love it!  The wreath is made out of burlap, satin ribbon and a foam wreath base.

I cut my burlap into strips and wrapped it around the wreath and secured with glue.  Then I rolled up a bunch of rosettes made out of this gorgeous satin ribbon I found at the store.

I just love the vibrant rich colors of the ribbon with the subtle shine of the satin.

The contrast between the fine fabric flowers and the natural rustic burlap is beautiful!

I just love it, it is such a bright and cheerful wreath! Have you made a wreath this year for spring/summer? Link up a picture and show me, I would love to see! :)
